Another week, another PSV Eredivisie win as they brushed aside NEC with a 2-0 victory. The club is showing no signs of slowing down in the Dutch top flight and has an American trio—Malik Tillman, Richy Ledezma, and Ricardo Pepi—to thank.
A year after rolling to one of the most successful seasons in club history and lifting the league, Peter Bosz's side have maintained their strong form to start to the season with a 5-0-0 start. Tillman and Ledezma made their fifth straight starts for the club, while Pepi came off the bench to secure a comfortable win.

In truth, the game was wrapped early, as PSV went up 2-0 inside 16 minutes, and NEC had a man sent off. Still, Tillman helped control things, and finished the game with two chances created. Ledezma was solid once again, completing 95 percent of his passes and finishing the game with 15 recoveries. Pepi played 27 minutes.
Fellow CONCACAF star and Mexico international Hirving Lozano didn't play due to injury.
DID YOU KNOW?
This is the fourth time in Eredivisie history that PSV have started 5-0-0. Here are the previous times:
1988-1989: PSV won the Eredivisie title
1995-1996: PSV finished third in the league.
2023-2024: PSV won the title.
With another impressive start, things could be lining up for a repeat in Eindhoven.
IMAGOWHAT NEXT FOR PSV?
The trio will likely be needed again over the next few weeks, as PSV embark on a tricky Champions League campaign. The league holders face Juventus on Tuesday, where they could square off against fellow USMNT-ers Tim Weah and Weston McKennie. After that, they travel to Fortuna Sittard next Sunday.
