Toni Kroos decided to bring the curtain down on his illustrious football career this summer after appearing for Germany at Euro 2024. While his farewell game in club football was marked by the Champions League triumph, for the national team, it ended on a painful note as Germany crashed out of the European Championship quarter-final after losing to Spain.

The newly-retired Real Madrid legend recently opened up about his time at Los Blancos while revealing unknown facts about his former team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo. The German also spoke about the Al-Nassr star's 'positive addiction'.
WHAT TONI KROOS SAID
Speaking to AS, the 34-year-old said, "Cristiano was there when I arrived at training and he was still there when I left. We all want to win titles and score goals, but for him scoring goals was a positive addiction. I dare say that's what he wants in Saudi Arabia too."
AFPWHAT NEXT FOR CRISTIANO RONALDO?
The 39-year-old is in fiery form in the current season having scored seven times in eight appearances across all competitions. He will be next seen in action on Saturday as Al-Nassr face Al-Orobah.
