da mrbet: Everton skipper Phil Jagielka has praised his manager David Moyes for the uncharacteristically fast start to the season.
da lvbet: Everton are known for their slow starts to the campaign but their unfortunate habit seems to have deserted them, as the Toffees sit in fourth place with 14 points from the opening seven games.
Everton’s fine form to the season has seen Moyes pick up the manager of the month award for September and his hard work has not gone unnoticed by his captain.
“I can’t imagine him spending that much time at home or sleeping because he is always down at the training ground, or the coaching room figuring out tactics to try and win us the game.” Jagielka told the Premier League.com.
“He puts trust in the right people around the club to do their job, and when it comes to match day, and the days before, the video meeting and the length he puts in, not only the defensive side but the attacking side to try and win these games.”
The England defender is focused on maintaining the club’s early season pace and everyone, including Moyes, is looking to turn early optimism into a tangible reward at the end of the season.
“It would be interesting to try and win a trophy or qualify for the Champions League.
“He’s finished there once before and has gone close in two FA cup finals.
“The club is desperate for some kind of silverware or fantastic finish in the league.
“If we keep our run going, keep everyone fit, or get to a final maybe we can win.”
