The central defender stood up well, however, and the Leeds fans were delighted with what they saw from Halme in the Championship affair.
Halme joined Leeds from HJK Helsinki in January, but picked up a serious foot injury during one of his first training sessions with the English club.
As a result, the centre-back missed the second half of last season in what was a huge blow, but he has been involved for the club in recent weeks.
